CLdN Automotive Ltd. is a Vehicle Enhancement Centre where vehicles are prepared for customer handover and commercial vehicles are being built to fleet customers’ specifications. It is a busy, fast-paced environment and as the company continues its rapid growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Smart Repair Technician.

Within this challenging role, you will perform bodywork repairs on various vehicle types within the Automotive Department. 

 

Your role

  • To conduct technician tasks such as dent removal, scratch repair and refinishing to a high-quality and in line with the manufacturers standards. 

  • Removing minor dents from the body of a motor vehicle including the use of dent puller and panel beating. 

  • To repair large dents and bodyline damages.

  • To restore door dings and minor creases. 

  • To prepare damaged panels for repainting by minimizing the use of body filler.

  • To utilize your knowledge of the "push to paint" or "push to prep" technique.

  • Identifying plastic repairs and refinishing by using the correct product knowledge on adhesion promotors, flexible additives, fillers and stoppers.

  • To have the ability to assess and identify different finished coatings i.e. textures. 

  • To ensure that paint and bodywork equipment including the facility is maintained and kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

  • To work to the Health & Safety rules within CLdN Automotive Ltd. 

Your profile                                                                          

  • To have proven experience in vehicle bodywork repair.

  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceptional customer service.

  • Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continued learning by participating in on-going training and any other industry related training requirements.

  • Be able to meet targets and deadlines.
