CLdN Automotive Ltd. is a Vehicle Enhancement Centre where vehicles are prepared for customer handover and commercial vehicles are being built to fleet customers’ specifications. It is a busy, fast-paced environment and as the company continues on its rapid growth, a new opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Automotive (MB Warranty/PDI Technician).
Within this challenging role, you will assist with all aspects of Warranty and PDI processes to defined standards.
Your role
You will be expected to study and pass the Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.
To liaise closely with the MB Technical Department in relation to all warranty/service measures to be carried out on all new MB vehicles.
To be trained then able to complete and ensure that all warranty paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Assist with any PDI work as and when required.
To support with all production requirements and ensure that they are met on a daily basis by yourself and the department.
Attend Mercedes Benz training courses either based on site or at their training venue when required.
To report and rectify any vehicle defects that may be found whilst undertaking the above.
To work to the Health & Safety rules within the CLdN Automotive. As well as undertaking Health & Safety sampling when necessary.
Your profile
You will hold GCSE level 4 or functional skills Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent)
To be able to communicate clearly at all levels both vocally and in writing
Have a basic working knowledge of IT equipment
Have an eye for attention to detail
Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team
