Within this challenging role, you will be responsible for processing the secure and correct access of visitors, contractors and deliveries to the Port, whilst ensuring correct data processing in relation to Company Security and H&S requirements. 

 

Your role

  • To administer visitor/contractor/delivery movements, ensuring that data is accurately entered into the appropriate systems.

  • Liaise with visitor/contractors/deliveries, CLdN employees and other departments to ensure Port Security compliance is maintained. Including no access for unauthorised persons without the correct documentation.

  • To be responsible for adhering to customer and Company quality requirements. 

  • Utilising the Company IT systems to administer and process visitor passes, ensuring this process is carried out correctly and accurately.

  • To be responsible for security access approval and photo ID checks prior to granting access to the port. 

  • Delivering and recording of site inductions. 

  • To provide support to the Freight Gates for terminal operations for all access and egress areas of the terminal.

  • To support terminal operations around the terminal for import and export cargo.

  • To ensure that Company policies and procedures are followed and a positive image of the Company is maintained. 

  • To undertake any training determined by Management to fulfil the role efficiently. 

 

Your profile                                                                          

  • Proven reception/administration experience. 

  • Good IT skills, including MS Office. 

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good customer service skills.

  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team.

  • Ideally, would have a degree of flexibility in your working hours if required.
